Hunting Regulations


2022-2023 HUNTING REGULATIONS

There are no more hunting permits available for the Fall 2022 - Spring 2023 hunting season.

The Glocester Land Trust allows Deer and Turkey hunting for individuals that possess a valid 2022-2023 RI DEM hunting license and an appropriate Hunting Courtesy Card signed by a representative of the GLT.

 GLT permitting is limited to 50 hunters per season, on a first come, first served basis.
Please note there are no more hunting permits available for the Fall 2022 - Spring 2023 hunting season.


Muzzleloader deer hunting is allowed on the following GLT properties ONLY:

Sprague Farm
Seldom Seen Farm

Deer: 11/5/2022-11/27/2022 and 12/26/2022-1/2/2023


Archery turkey and deer hunting is allowed on the following GLT properties ONLY:

Garrity Woodland
Seldom Seen Farm
Sprague Farm
Hopkins Woodland

Deer: 10/1/22 - 1/31/2023

Turkey: 10/1/2022-10/31/2022 and 4/27/2023-5/21/2023


* Hunters must follow the RI DEM 2022-2023 hunting and trapping regulations with the following exception:

Shotgun hunting is PROHIBITED on all Glocester Land Trust properties. The only exception is for RI Youth Turkey Hunting weekend on Sprague Farm (west of Elbow Rock Road, and north of Haystack Hill Road).
